
On 25 September 2025, Suffolk County Council submitted its final proposal for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) to the Government. This followed approval by the County Council’s Cabinet at a public meeting on 16 September 2025.
The proposal sets out the vision for One Suffolk – a streamlined approach to local government designed to deliver better services, improved efficiency, and stronger communities.
