We also use a robust testing system to ensure we meet criteria for accessibility including HTML and CSS validations as well as other validations such as alt tags on images and more. One Suffolk consciously and consistently checks that accessibility guidelines are being met throughout the design stage before moving through to build.<\/p>\n<h3>Accessibility Statement<\/h3>\n<p>This accessibility statement applies to https:\/\/www.onesuffolkcouncil.co.uk\/<\/p>\n<p>This website is run by One Suffolk. We\u2019re committed to ensuring all visitors can access our web services and we want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.<\/p>\n<h3>How accessible is the site?<\/h3>\n<p>We are currently undergoing multiple changes to ensure that the level and version of accessibility is met by WCAG standards. We have completed this with additional features to enhance users\u2019 experience on the site to be an on-going enhancement.<\/p>\n<h3>How you can improve your visit to the site<\/h3>\n<p>Modern operating systems have magnifier software built in. The following article details how to use a screen magnifier on a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/help\/11542\/windows-use-magnifier-to-make-things-easier-to-see\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Opens in a new tab.\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Windows machine<\/a>&nbsp;or alternatively on a Mac computer follow&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk\/macos-mojave-magnifying-screen\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Opens in a new tab.\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">these instructions.<\/a> These will enable your visit to the site to be better for those that are visually impared or struggle to read smaller text.<\/p>\n<h4>Non-accessible content (if any available)<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Some of our input fields are missing their descriptions. This means it is hard for some assisted technologies to know what the field is for<\/li>\n<li>On some of our links, the only identifiable mark that it is a link is a colour change. This makes it difficult for people who cannot perceive colour to know that a link is in use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019re always looking to improve the accessibility of our website.
