Suffolk has always been a place of proud towns, diverse people, and strong local voices. Our councils play a key role in that. Now, we have an opportunity to rethink how we deliver services so they work better for everyone, with your help.
For over 50 years, six different councils have managed services across the county. Now, the Government is asking councils in Suffolk to simplify how they work. In response, we proposes replacing all six councils with a new single body for Suffolk. Other proposals being put forward include the creation of two or even three councils.
